How many sugar cubes are in one cup?

Recently, I ran out of sugar and couldn't get to the store. I went online to figure out how many of the dots I had to dump to get one cup ... and could not find the answer! So, for anyone out there who runs into the same dilemma... here it is.

Dominos Dots Sugar Cubes have 126 cubes in one box. Each box weighs one pound and there are 2 cups in one pound of sugar. So, half of a box is one cup and the whole box equals 2 cups!

I don't know if this blog still exists, but you also helped me. Making a cinnamon roll recipe and ran out of white sugar... had some sugar cubes from the kids' school project. Now I may continue! Thanks!

You helped me also! I was making a gallon of tea and after boiling my tea, noticed we were out of sugar! Thanks to the absinthe fiasco we have a box of sugar cubes in my cabinet. Thanks!

Thank you very much for posting this! I also ran out of regular sugar and was stuck with only cubed sugar and no clue as to how many cubes equal 1/4 cup (about 15 or 16). Thank you!!
